Thank you for your summary of an America 🇺🇸 on the verge of a modern day civil war. Controlling the narrative with false accusations makes We The People question our judgement and our sanity. The other two world 🌎 power brokers, Russia and China, are seeing this as an opportunity. Use this false narrative and division to take advantage of this nation 🇺🇸. We are at a crossroads. I hope and pray 🙏 we choose the right path.
Thank you James for your continuation of excellent newsletters. I just want to let you know that I post some of your articles in our Democratic group in Nextdoor. These last two were eye-opening!
Free speech in America is being eroded by fear, intimidation, and digital platforms that reward outrage. Disagreement is recast as betrayal, institutions fail to protect dissenters, and people self-censor to avoid risks. Defending democracy now means protecting dissent and rebuilding the conditions that make speech safe, meaningful, and possible.
Charlie Kirk was a poster boy for 'dissenting' from what we have long agreed are democratic values. He did not deserve to die for that. Yet he was willing to encourage the death of others for doing the same thing. How do we undo this conundrum?

I send emails to my magat reps in DC all the time. I’m starting to be afraid to do so.
